Along with a "Manhattan Project" style conservation effort, we could be energy independant.&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;5% of the people using 25% of the resource. We are just fooling ourselves. And also - Renewables already make up a noticeable slice of the pie. Nobody is getting poorer from investing in alternatives.
